Abstract: A generalization of Krull domains are so called weakly Krull domains. They have many important applications, e.g. in number theory. We will discuss when a monoid algebra is weakly Krull. Based on this and some results of the previous talk, we will deduce factorization theoretic statements for weakly Krull affine monoid algebras.
